Tom Brady responded to two comments from NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick last week.

Fitzpatrick said on Barstool Sports’ “Parden My Take” that Brady turned him away from the “p—-s” and that the seven-time Super Bowl champion had lacked respect for him throughout his career. Fitzpatrick also claimed that she was mentioned in a 2021 episode of “The Shop” as “Mother F—er” Brady.

Brady said on the latest episode of the “Let’s Go” podcast that he had no grudges toward Fitzpatrick, but didn’t understand why he was taking criticism.

“Let’s talk about Ryan. And I love Ryan, but for some reason he took it out for me. I actually talked to Ryan Griffin, one of our quarterbacks, he said, ‘ Ryan is always on you. I don’t know why.’ So I don’t know why Ryan is there,” Brady said.

“Maybe Ryan and I need to talk. Ryan’s a hell of a guy too. And I’ve competed against him. I mean, he’s a Harvard guy. Now he’s homeless. And now he’s doing it on TV.” That’s what my future job will be. So I think Ryan’s doing well. I’m not sure why he needs to think I’m behind him or something like that.”

Brady said that the “mother f—er” he mentioned during the episode of “The Shop” was not Fitzpatrick.

Brady said, “I like to keep them guessing. And unfortunately with this coming out, I have to tell him, it wasn’t him.”

Fitzpatrick said in an episode of “The Dan Le Batard Show” that he was the guy.

“I think I still am. I feel like I’m still that man,” he said. “If you go back to that … before the 2019 season when the Dolphins are trying to assemble a roster that’s going to help them pick a better draft next year, it’s not like there’s one for Tom. Fascinating situation was about to happen. Anyway. So, I’m not sure why he was so upset about it, but I still believe I am that mother—er.”

The Dolphins were a team involved in trying to sign Brady in 2019 and are looking to bring him in at some point in 2022 – whether as a player or minority owner.
