Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key first made a name for themselves in Hollywood and with the public with their popular (and hilarious) sketch comedy show. Key and Peel. Judging by the viral nature of some of his excerpts and the tremendous talent, it looked like he would be in the comedy game for years to come. And while they are embroiled in that world, Peele has simultaneously become one of the great horror directors and writers, as well as pivoting to a new genre of which he has become something of a master. Well, now the two are reuniting their efforts, this time in the realm of horror, though this is a film that dials it back a bit and is more for the younger crowd. We were out at first sight wendell and wilde And it looks like a great crossroads for Key & Peele in a movie that could really kick off this Halloween.

The film looks unlike other animated films we’ve seen recently and can really find audiences based on the genre and the lead roles of Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key. It looks stylish and sleek in all the right places, while projecting a sense of cool cool that contrasts with the dark and scary vibe at the heart of the film.

In Wendell & Wilde, Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael play two demon brothers who are trying to make their way into the world of the living, but will need some “help” to actually get there. Key and Peele see Kat come in the form of Eliot (voiced by Lyric Ross), a 13-year-old girl dealing with her own issues. But she appears to be up for the task and likely has all the means and confidence to deal with these dudes and more. It seems that if the scenes here are any indication they will have to face bad scenarios on many different fronts throughout the film.

And if the visuals and style for this Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele movie sound familiar, it is for a reason. for starters, wendell and wilde Directed by Henry Selick who has directed other films such as The Nightmare Before Christmas, Coraline, And James and the Giant Peach. He uses stop motion technique in his film and the same is true in this latest one. Plus, Peele and Selick wrote the film together which should add to the tension. Keeping Peel in mind, such films have been cast. Get Out, Us, Candyman, And No, We already know that he is top of the game in this matter.

Key & Peele fans will get to see wendell and wilde Starting in theaters on October 21st but it will only happen in a limited fashion. Most will have to stream it on Netflix from October 28. It looks like the perfect compliment for that holiday season.
