According to a body language expert, Kate Middleton shot at Meghan Markle over the weekend at Windsor Castle to “freeze” the icy glare.
Katia Loisel told Australia’s Seven News: “We know that unlike the confident Meghan, Meghan appeared to be at ease during this encounter, which is not surprising given the recent criticism.”
She reported that Middleton’s husband, Prince William, appeared to be trying with her sister-in-law – but claimed that the newly-appointed Princess of Wales looked like she was trying to “freeze out” Markle .
“On several occasions Meghan looked at Kate, however, the gaze was not fixed,” Loisel said, with Middleton asking Markle to “look at” instead.
Loisel believes Middleton, 40, succeeded in her intention to make Markle, 41, uncomfortable.
“Meghan’s hand raised hesitantly, as if waving, but paused in the middle of the wind to adjust her hair, lowering her head and gaze, before looking up and giving a sharp wave , his hand returned to rest in front of his body. Partial hand obstruction,” explained the body language specialist.
Another body language expert, Judy James, told the Daily Mail she saw “no sign of affection” between 40-year-old William and Middleton and Markle and her husband, William’s younger brother Prince Harry.
The two couples’ reunion at Windsor Castle in London on Sunday marked the first time they were seen together in public for the first time since Commonwealth Day, March 9, 2020, before the COVID-19 lockdown.

Middleton and Markle appeared to avoid making eye contact as they greeted the crowd gathered to mourn the death of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8.
Once the outings stopped, the women eventually made their way to separate vehicles with their respective spouses.

Markle and Middleton have fueled feud rumors over the years, most notably when the “Suits” alum claimed that the latter made her cry before their 2018 wedding.
Harry, 38, and Markle caused a significant split in the royal family in January 2020 after infamously giving up their royal duties and moving to California.
A royal source previously told Page Six that the family appreciates the “Fab Four” temporarily pushing aside their differences to honor the late Queen.
The insider shared, “We are all so grateful – both sides put everything aside for the Queen.”
