Kanye West is opening up about co-parenting with Kim Kardashian.
The 45-year-old Grammy-winning rapper briefly addressed the criticism he received on Friday aloe mind podcast, explaining: “You get to that point, everyone wants to say ‘Oh, this is mental health’ and everyone wants you to apologize a million times.”
He continued, “Everybody wants everyone to be so doped out, so controlled, that you’re not even allowed to sand down the things you’re entrusting your family with.”

West—who shares North, 9, Saints, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3—with Kardashian, 41, continued, “Your home is your original church. So, even today, I am now. Also advise Kim on things that might help, because she’s going to have kids. She still has to — basically 80 percent of the time — raise those kids.”
Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage.
Since then, fans have watched her navigate through her breakup and work on co-parenting her four children on Hulu. Kardashian.

In an episode that aired in May, Kardashian, 41, said she wants West to be a part of her children’s lives, no matter what the drama between the former couple.
During the episode, West comes home to pick up the kids in a firetruck to take them to school.
The SKIMS founder said in a confessional statement, “No matter what phase we’re going through, I always want my kids to be around their dads as much as possible and have their mornings with dad and Leave the school.”

“I think sometimes, people shy away from being a super dad, everybody wants to be a cool dad and sometimes you have to wear a fire hat, sometimes you have to wear an Easter Bunny costume,” West said. Told.
Kardashian has previously spoken out about her ongoing divorce from the rapper in a conversation with Robin Roberts, sharing that she is “really open and honest” with her kids about the split.

While Kardashian admitted that her “younger kids don’t really understand,” she added that her two older kids “know what’s going on.”
“You just have to be there for them,” she said in an April conversation. “No matter what, even in this crazy life that we live, you just have to have a really open dialogue with your kids. Kanye and I have conversations. We have to talk daily for the kids so you know, I hate it. Got to play like this. But when it comes to family, I mean, Kanye and I will always be family.”
