Guido Cannetti will lock horns with Randy Costa in a bantamweight bout at an Ultimate Fighting Championship event on Oct. 1.
ESPN Deportes was first to report the booking. The card currently doesn’t have a location or headliner.
Cannetti snapped a three-bout skid in his last outing, when he defeated Kris Moutinho via first-round technical knockout at UFC Fight Night 203 on March 12. The 42-year-old Argentina native is 3-5 during his tenure with the Las. Vegas-based promotion.
Costa, meanwhile, is coming off back-to-back TKO defeats at the hands of Tony Kelley and Adrian Yanez in the Octagon. Costa entered the UFC after with a 4-0 career mark and has gone 2-3 in the Octagon, with first-round knockouts of Boston Salmon and Journey Newson to his credit.
