if you thought Thor: Love and Thunder With Guardians of the Galaxy could use a little more Asgardian God’s team-up, you’re in luck. one in Deleted Scenes, Debuts Exclusively Here AV ClubThor (Chris Hemsworth) gets an extended conversation with Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), and Mantis (Pom Clementieff).

As you may recall, Thor initially went back to a band of space travel misfits. Avengers: Infinity WarRocket (Bradley Cooper) and Big (Vin Diesel). After his extended stay on Earth during the blip, he takes off with the Guardians in Milano after the final throwdown against Thanos.

The scene, titled “Wasting Time”, provides an alternate version of what was seen. Taika Waititifollow-up Thor: Ragnarokreleased in July and Disney+ on 8 September. In the clip, Star-Lord and Mantis approach Thor, a meditator, asking him to join the fight to protect Indiger. The telepath is accused of convincing her, but what she sees in her mind is not at all ready for battle.

Recalling the deaths of Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Heimdall, Mantis says, “Many people love perish, they think their blood is on their hands.”Idris Elbas), among others.

It turns out that superpowers are not required, and the God of Thunder’s friendly rivalry with the Star-Lord is enough to propel him to action.

“That’s how they’ll make an idol of me when I save the planet,” he taunts. “Stay there and don’t be a hero!”

Wasting Time – Thor: Love and Thunder

The Guardian will next appear in a special holiday special for Disney+, expected later this year, followed by Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 In theaters on May 5, 2023. Thor is also expected to return, but it remains to be seen when—or which version, later. Thor: Love and Thunder introduced Natalie PortmanJane Foster as the mighty Thor.

Thor: Love and Thunder Will be released digitally on September 8 and 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD September 27.
