Sleeper, of course, is a vague term. Use whatever definition works for you. Similarly, this column is what you want. Maybe it helps you make a start/sit call or DFS decision this week. Maybe you apply the information to an over/under prop. Perhaps you’ll add a player as depth to your fantasy bench, but don’t deploy it this week. There’s no wrong way to digest this piece
Last week wasn’t a famous sleeper sheet, but we did have a few hits. Carson Wentz came in. Greg Dortch scored. Treylon Burke Not gone yet, but he’s still holding a reasonable depth; the tape is encouraging,
Let us introduce you to some of the winners of the third week.
We spent the summer telling you how wonderful eliza moore Is. And we spent the last week lashing out at the rookie receiver Garrett Wilson,
With those ascending jets, shouldn’t we have some nice things to say about Flacco?
Jets Receiver Room – Corey Davis Not bad, either – could pull Flacco into fantasy relevance. Flacco is quietly QB9 through week two, a ball one as he navigates through his AFC North Revenge tour. And while volume is driving a lot of that value, so what? The Jets defense ranks last in the DVOA, so the New York offense will have to throw to keep up. The ball will remain in the air for three hours.
I accept the Flaco as a sneaky Superflex QB2 or pay-down DFS alternative at $23. I might as well punch some flaco props this week.

As bad as the Colts were in Week 1, they hit a new low in a Week 2 shutout loss in Jacksonville.
Matt Ryan’s Not only in the last nine of his career, he can start at 18. take Michael Pittman Jr. Off the field and the Indianapolis passing game looks toothless.
Maybe something sneaky is biting here. Dulin started last week and was credible in the loss, posting a 5-79-0 line on seven goals. His Snap share nearly doubled in 1 week; He was on the field 64 percent of the time in Jacksonville.
This role may last or possibly expand. paris campbell shows no signs of being a real NFL receiver, and the Colts clearly don’t know how to get the tight end Mo-Ali Cox, Dulin deserves to add depth to the value of the speculative post-season, and he is likely to return the profit on his modest $11 tag in Yahoo DFS.
Travis Etienne, RB, Jaguar (at Chargers)
James Robinson The comeback is fun, it’s inspiring, and it’s fantastic. And Etienne has made some young-player mistakes in the first two weeks. We can’t ignore that Jacksonville is leaning on Robinson; He has made 37 touches in two games, compared to just 18 for Etienne.
But don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. Efficiency also matters. Etienne is making 6.6 yards per touch, compared to a modest 4.0 for Robinson. Eventually that kind of playmaking skill should force more level time portions, or perhaps the Etienne-led backfield.
The Jaguars are a lucky bunch in 2022, but deservedly underdogs in Los Angeles, scoring seven points in the spread. It’s possible that Jacksonville will be in catch-up mode for most of the day. Sunday may be the game where Etienne justifies why he was so hotly contested during draft season. It’s a good time to tell a leaguemate that “you want to get a running back” and see if he suggests a move where you get his frustrating atti. See if you can time the market.
Irv Smith, TE, Vikings (vs Detroit)
The Lions are the NFL’s peak carnival right now, an offense that scores and a defense that waves to opponents. You want points, you’ve got them. You want fantasy points, get a calculator.
Smith could feel like a clear call after scoring a touchdown on Monday (and a second left, a long one). But given that he just stands TE18 on the year, there’s probably room for growth. And Smith is the minimum stone in Yahoo DFS, $10. That’s a free square.
i’m one Adam Thielen Fans and even apologetics for many years, but perhaps Thylen is finally in the throes of decline at age 32. This could be an accelerator for a potential Smith breakthrough year.

Eagles DST (in Washington)
Philadelphia is a hot team right now. Jalen Hurts MVP odds have dropped drastically. AJ Brown broke in the opener, Devonta Smith Shine in the second game. Dallas Goedert cannot be prevented by conventional means. and also Miles Sanders Scoring again.
You want to get in touch with this NFC East juggernaut but can’t connect to any of the above paragraphs? Check on Eagles DST. Despite some active activity this week, it’s still available in 50 percent of Yahoo League.
Week 3 pits the Eagles against Carson Wentz – There are funny pieces in Washington’s offense, but Wentz will also make a few mistakes every week. And it’s possible that you can add the Eagles and stay for a while. As strange as it may sound, Philadelphia may be favored for the remainder of the 2022 schedule. This is the perfect year to attract the AFC South as their crossover division.
Whenever possible, you want a DST that is expected to win. You want leverage, you want to play with the lead. More often than not, that would be the 2022 Eagle. let it rip.
