Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Friday doubled down on her criticism of the transportation of migrants from the US-Mexico border to various regions across the country.

In a tweet, the New York Democrat called the recent actions by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott “horrific” and compared them to “smuggling.”

Without naming the two governors, Ocasio-Cortez also said Republicans were guilty of “crimes against humanity.”

The AOC suggested Texas Gov. Abbott to retire after migrants move to Washington DC

Ocasio-Cortez said: “Don’t normalize it. Lying and trafficking people for TV and clicks is not politics as usual. It’s abuse.”

In a pair of other posts, the Bronx native suggested that people should refrain from calling immigrants “illegal” because there were “most American families” immigrating to the country at one time.

“By today’s standards, most American families will be deemed undocumented or trafficked at some point in their family history,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. “For the most part, people didn’t need lawyers and years of processing to come to this America until immigration became a racial issue.”

Biden says Republicans ‘playing politics’ after taking migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, VP’s home

The tweets come as Abbott arranged to transport two buses full of migrants to the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C. DeSantis also sent planes of migrants to Martha’s Vineyard.

Prior to this, Abbott had settled migrants in New York and other areas.

He said the convoy suggests the governor is “struggling” to run his state and perhaps should consider other employment.

Ocasio-Cortez cited the power crisis caused by three in February 2021, saying, “I remember how people stepped up to help Texans when you left them cold and hungry during the winter. We support these families.” Would also welcome. They have a lot to offer.” Severe winter storms.

“It sounds like you’re struggling with your job, though. Perhaps you should consider whether this is the right job for you,” she concluded.
